The Transistor is a science fiction film written and directed by Matthew Chapman. Starring Rafe Spall, Marton Csokas and Stellan Skarsgård, the film was released in the United Kingdom on 4 July 2006.
Plot
While working on a music business project, science fiction writer David Webb (Rafe Spall) listens to a loop of a lab technician named Lex (Stellan Skarsgård) communicating via a telephone headset. Lex plays a prank on his boss, but is then fired. The headset appears to contain a telepathic device which allows it to hear and see from the mind of the person wearing it. It then persuades David to sell it to Karp (Marton Csokas), a wealthy and eccentric pharmaceutical mogul, who wants to find the next generation of bio-enhancement drugs. But it is not a con and Karp's motives are not entirely honest, as he is connected with a sinister government agency.
In the film, the pair find themselves implicated in a number of criminal activities, including black be359ba680
